About CHIA

The Center for Health Information and Analysis (CHIA) is a Commonwealth agency that serves as Massachusetts’ hub for health care data and a primary source of health care analytics that support policy development. 

CHIA provides objective and reliable reporting on Massachusetts health insurance coverage, access, and use of health care services, in addition to monitoring trends in premiums paid to health plans, and health care service utilization. You can learn more about CHIA by visiting our website.
